Asylum for the Criminally Insane, it was rebuilt after a fire consumed the second floor, most died in it because of the way it was designed, the first and second floor share a common chimney a big fire place on the first floor and the same above fire made it to hard for the patients to get out. then in the 1950's it was made a Juvenile Detention Hall and the same thing happened; a fire and most died, it was rebuilt and then shut down in the mid 1970's
